OC is a full-body and mind workout.
With OC you want your boat to go fast. But your stroke needs to go slow. Getting good is a combination of full-body strength and mental fortitude. Your arms beg to go fast, but have you ever revved a car in the snow? Your tires slip, you go nowhere.
The secret is to go slow and steady. Slow in the water = fast. Slow = power.
